HIV AIDS Prevention & Control
Jagan Nath University, Jaipur is committed to providing a safe, healthy, inclusive, and non-discriminatory environment for all its students, employees, faculty members, contractual staff, visitors, and other stakeholders. The University recognizes that HIV and AIDS is not merely a public health issue but also a matter of human rights, dignity, equality, and social justice.
In accordance with the provisions of the HIV & AIDS (Prevention and Control) Act, 2017, the HIV and AIDS Policy for Establishments, 2022, and other applicable laws and guidelines issued by the Government of India, the University adopts this policy to prevent discrimination against persons living with HIV (PLHIV), promote awareness regarding HIV prevention, ensure confidentiality of HIV-related information, and establish an effective mechanism for addressing complaints relating to discrimination and violation of rights.
The University have an accessible grievance redressal mechanism through the appointment of a Complaint Officer to address complaints relating to discrimination on the grounds of HIV status.
