The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports organizes every year "World Bicycle Day" on 3rd June to solve the dual issues of global warming and unhealthy lifestyle.
For the betterment of health and environment Jagan Nath University, Department of Student Welfare is celebrating the World Bicycle Day on 3rd June, 2024.
Regarding this request to all the students and staff members, kindly share your geotag photo or video (Max.1 Min.) of cycling of 3rd June, 2024. We will share your geotag photo on our university website.

2024World No Tobacco Day on 31st May, 2024
As per the guidelines from World Health Organization (WHO) every year 3lst May is observed as World No Tobacco Day (WNTD) in India. This annual campaign is an opportunity to raise awareness on the harmful and deadly effects of tobacco. This yearly celebration informs the public on the dangers of using tobacco.
Regarding this, The Department of Student Welfare, Jagan Nath University is going to organize a Pledge Taking Ceremony on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day on 31st May, 2024 at both the campuses.
Kindly motivate your students for the pledge taking ceremony.

The Yoga session will start from 10:00 am so kindly wear comfortable outfits during yoga and do not take heavy breakfast before yoga which will help you in yoga asanas.

As per the letter of UGC F. No. l-27 12022(e.Gov) Jagannath University has prepared an action plan with the list of activities for Har Ghar Tiranga Program under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav from 13th to 15th August 2022.In this regard, you are requested to disseminate the information on Har Ghar Tiranga program with your students and stakeholders and to encourage them to urge their family members to hoist the National Flag in their respective households during the period from 13th -15th August, 2022 and making the 'Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign a resounding success.You are also requested to upload the participatory videos of 'Har Ghar Tiranga' programme on social media platforms like Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram etc.
