Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)


The Faculty of Education is established at the university campus and initiated with B.Ed. 2 year’s programme (4 semesters) from the academic session 2017-18. It has emerged as one of the prominent components of education which aims at complete evolvement of the student teacher, especially in the areas of knowledge and skills and it is needed for those who want to make a career in the field of teaching. The course is designed to shape promising teacher education with research insights and competence in the delivery of contents. The staple objective of this program is to enable them to understand and use formal and informal assessment strategies to evaluate and ensure the continuous intellectual social, emotional and physical development of the learners. Basically, this program enables the student teachers to understand the nature of the learner and of learning processes. The demand for the trained teachers in this field is very high. A student after completing B.Ed. can easily get the jobs at the Upper Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary schools level as well as step up towards Post Graduate degree and Research.

Course Eligibility

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree with min. 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PH/SBC & Widow/ Divorce candidates of Rajasthan) | The candidates appearing in final year of qualifying examination may also apply and appear in PTET subject to declaration of their result up to last date of online counseling.
