Day 3 Highlights – National Physiotherapy Workshop Continuum 2.0 (2026)
Date : 8th April 2026
Venue of the Event : C-Block Auditorium, Sitapura Campus, Jagannath University, Jaipur
The session started with a detailed understanding of clinical assessment, where participants learned the importance of accurate diagnosis through proper history taking, posture analysis, and functional evaluation. Real-life clinical examples helped bridge theory with practice.
This was followed by an engaging hands-on session on MET, where students actively practiced techniques to improve joint mobility and reduce muscle tightness. The interactive nature of the session made it easy to understand therapist-patient coordination and application in real cases.
The core activation segment focused on strengthening deep stabilizing muscles and improving posture and movement control. Participants were guided step-by-step on correct activation techniques, highlighting its importance in rehabilitation and injury prevention.
The final session on therapeutic kinesiotaping included live demonstrations and practical application. Students learned different taping techniques for pain relief, muscle support, and postural correction, making it highly useful for clinical practice.
The event was graced by special guests Prof. (Dr.) Madusudhan Tiwari (HOD, Physiotherapy, MGUMST) and Dr. Mahesh Shau (HOD, Bombay Hospital, Jaipur), who shared valuable insights and encouraged students to focus on skill development and ethical practice.
Overall, Day 3 was a perfect blend of knowledge and hands-on learning, empowering participants with essential clinical skills and boosting their confidence for real-world physiotherapy practice.
