Day 2 Highlights – National Physiotherapy Workshop Continuum 2.0 (2026)

The second day of the National Physiotherapy Workshop “Continuum 2.0 – 2026”, organized at Jagannath University, Jaipur, in collaboration with the IIC Cell and the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Rajasthan, concluded on a highly energetic and enriching note. The day was filled with insightful academic discussions, hands-on learning, and active participation from enthusiastic delegates.
The program was graced by esteemed dignitaries including, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) O.P. Sharma, and special guests Indian Association of Physiotherapist (IAP President) Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Jha, IAP National Women Cell Head Dr. Ruchi Varshney, IAP Joint Secretary Dr. Joji John, Prof. (Dr.) Anchit Gugnani, along with Head of Department Prof. (Dr.) Aditi Singh. Their presence added immense value to the event and inspired all participants.
The major highlight of Day 2 was the expert session conducted by Prof. (Dr.) Maneesh R. Arora on Lumbopelvic Spine Manipulative Therapy. The session was highly interactive and focused on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and clinical practice. Dr. Arora shared his vast expertise and guided participants through advanced concepts in assessment and treatment of lumbopelvic dysfunctions.
A key feature of the session was the hands-on training, where participants got the opportunity to practically perform various manipulative techniques under expert supervision. Emphasis was laid on correct body mechanics, posture alignment, patient safety, and precise clinical approach. This practical exposure significantly enhanced the confidence and clinical skills of the attendees.
Participants showed great enthusiasm and actively engaged in learning, asking questions, and refining their techniques. The session not only strengthened their understanding but also provided clarity on applying these techniques effectively in real clinical settings. Experts highlighted that such workshops play a crucial role in upgrading professional competencies and keeping practitioners aligned with modern physiotherapy practices.
The dignitaries appreciated the initiative and encouraged all participants to continue their journey of learning and skill enhancement. They emphasized the importance of continuous professional development in delivering quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of the physiotherapy profession.
