Objectives
- To celebrate World Physiotherapy Day and recognise the vital role of physiotherapy in health and well-being.

- To provide a platform for students to showcase their talents in academic, cultural, and recreational activities.
- To strengthen the bond between BPT and MPT batches through shared participation and collaboration.
- To encourage innovation and research aptitude through academic events like e-poster presentations and quizzes.
- To foster a sense of healthy competition by identifying top-performing students for inter-university representation.
- To instill confidence, enthusiasm, and pride in physiotherapy as a profession.

Summary
The Department of Physiotherapy, Jagannath University, Jaipur, organised the first day of the World Physiotherapy Day celebrations on 9th September 2025 with immense enthusiasm and wholehearted participation from students and faculty members. The event witnessed the presence of more than 350 students from all Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) , creating an atmosphere of unity, excitement, and academic spirit.
The program commenced with a dignified inaugural ceremony marked by the arrival of esteemed dignitaries, the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, and a warm welcome address by Dr. Aditi Singh, Head of the Department of Physiotherapy. Senior officials of the university addressed the gathering and delivered motivating messages, highlighting the growing relevance of physiotherapy in the healthcare sector and encouraging students to embrace innovation, professionalism, and academic excellence as future healthcare providers. Their words set the tone for the celebrations, instilling pride and purpose among the young learners.

- PO 3 Promote health and implement strategies informed by best available research evidence to prevent and minimise impairments, activity limitations and participation restrictions caused due to various disorders.
Summary
The second day of the World Physiotherapy Day 2025 celebrations at Jagannath University, Jaipur, held on 10th September, was dedicated to inter-collegiate competitions and witnessed enthusiastic participation from leading physiotherapy colleges across Jaipur. The day began with the arrival of dignitaries, faculty members, and students from various institutions, creating a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere. The presence of multiple universities under one roof highlighted the spirit of academic unity and healthy competition.
The morning session opened with the much-awaited Inter-Collegiate Nukkad Natak competition, titled Aarogyamanch. Teams from Jagannath University, Mahatma Gandhi College of Physiotherapy, Vivekananda Global University, Swasthya Kalyan Institute, NIMS University, and Jaipur National University presented powerful street plays. Each team used creativity and dramatic expression to address significant public health and social issues, ranging from lifestyle diseases and hygiene awareness to gender equality and digital health concerns. The performances were thought provoking, engaging the audience through impactful dialogues, humor, and relatable storytelling. Their simplicity and strong social messaging ensured that the messages resonated with all present. After an intense competition, Jaipur National University emerged as the winner, earning admiration from the audience and commendation from the panel of judges for their convincing performance and strong delivery of health messages.
In the afternoon, the spotlight shifted to the Inter-Collegiate Quiz Competition, Brainometer, which brought together some of the brightest minds from participating universities. Teams from Jagannath University, Jaipur National University, Swasthya Kalyan Institute, MJRP University, Vivekananda Global University, and SGVU battled in a fast-paced buzzer-based contest. The quiz comprised several rounds that tested academic knowledge, reasoning skills, and quick decision-making abilities. The rounds grew progressively more challenging, keeping the participants and audience highly engaged. Jagannath University, as the host institution, demonstrated exceptional preparation and confidence, ultimately securing the first position and bringing pride to the university. Their victory underscored the department’s commitment to academic excellence and student preparedness.
