Workshop Objective
This first session of the Founders Series set the foundation for a strong entrepreneurial culture at Jagannath University. It inspired students to think creatively, embrace innovation, and take confident steps towards their startup journey.
One of the major challenges for startups is securing funding. Mr. Goyal provided insights into various funding sources available for budding entrepreneurs, including:
- Government Schemes & Grants - Startup India, MSME funding, and innovation grants.
- Angel Investors & Venture Capitalists (VCs) - How to pitch ideas to potential investors.
- Incubation and Accelerators - Role of startup incubators in supporting early-stage startups.
- Crowdfunding Platforms - Using platforms like Kickstarter and GoFundMe to raise capital.
- Bank Loans & Financial Assistance - Exploring financial aid and business loans for startups.
