Faculty of Management Studies organized a Guest Lecture under it's Knowledge Series on New Business Horizons for Emerging Entrepreneurs in India on 22 March, 2024.

The resource person for the session was Prof. Ashok Kumar Sharma, Head (Retd.) Department of Business Administration and Former Director, Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

Having teaching experience of more than 35 years, Dr. Sharma is credited for ten highly acclaimed books on Management and Computer Applications.

Prof. Sharma in his session shared with statistics that in this new era, young entrepreneurs play a vital role in shaping India’s startup ecosystem. Their distinctive yet budding methodologies are providing a new vision for the entrepreneurial world. The innovative methods and concepts possessed by these young leaders have the potential to transform several industries and improve the country’s future. He concluded the session by saying that mentorship, relationship foster a comprehensive approach to leadership and equip aspiring business leaders with the interpersonal skills necessary to motivate teams, build alliances, and create a lasting impression, in addition to business awareness.

All the students of MBA and BBA attended the session and cleared their queries, doubts about entrepreneurship and start ups by asking questions at the end. Prof. Sharma generously assured them to guide for related endeavours.

The session ended with Vote of Thanks by Pro VC and Dean FMS Prof. Vaishali Sharma.

Mr Shubham Bhatt  is Manager, Analyst Data Science at Jio Platforms, Mumbai. He has over 10 years experience in Business Analytics. He has been instrumental in strategic operations of reliance retail projects.

Mr Jitendra Pal Singh is General Manager, Mid Corporate Branch Head at Indian Bank, Jaipur. He has over 20 years experience in corporate and retail banking. The speaker initiated the discussion by asking the students  about Indian Banking System .He followed the discussion on the problems faced by the students as customers.

Mr Kapil Dev Singh is Head of Recruitments at MetaCube Software Limited. He has over 15 years experience in manpower recruitment and training. He has worked with Cognizant Technologies as well as ICICI Bank. He has been instrumental in strategic sourcing of manpower for MetaCube prized projects .

Prof. M.S. Verma is emeritus professor , who was the first vice –chancellor of Jagannath University, Jaipur. He has been associated with Jagannath Gupta Memorial Trust for more than two decades.

He is a doctorate in management  and has written many articles and papers that have been published in some of the renowned national and international journals and magazines . He has authored many books on management and has guided more than 100 Ph.D scholars.

CA Ankita Mehta, Chartered Accountant by profession .She is a certified SEBI Currency Derivative ,Commodity Derivative, Mutual Fund and also a Retirement Expert. She started her career in Mumbai based renowned stock broking firm.She has established Arthranj, a Stock Value Broking Services firm.

The firm aims at providing value stock market services based on original intelligence.

Ms. Sonali Misra is a behavioral skills trainer, personal development coach and a career counsellor. She has trained students, faculty and professionals on Behavioral Skills, Interpersonal Skills and Functional skills.  She has assessed, conceptualized, designed and executed industry focused employability training for students, comprising of job analysis, resume building, group discussion and handling interview to guide students towards skill development and better career prospects. 

Prof. Jitendra Rathore has spent most of his time in the serene hill of Himachal Pradesh where he has completed his schooling and graduation. Jitendra Rathore is a story teller at heart.He tried to gather stories taking place around him to motivate people and reflect upon what is happening in the society.

Mr Tapan Vyas  is Associate Director Projects  at Cognizant Software. He has over 20 years experience in software development and programming. He has been instrumental in strategic operations of Cognizant's prized projects .
