B Tech 4th Semester workshop cum internship visit to RCAT Center, Jaipur on 16th April 2026

On 16th April 2026, a group of 75 B Tech 4th Semester students visited the Rajasthan Center of advanced Technology Govt. of Rajasthan (RCAT) Center to have a hands-on workshop and explore internship cum placement opportunities. The visit aimed to provide students with insights into industry requirements and enhance their employability skills.

At the outset Prof. (Dr.) Om Prakash Sharma, Pro-President and Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology interacted with all the students and advised them to be in discipline during the visit at RCAT Center.

The main objectives were to understand current job trends & skills in demand, process of internship & placement and interact with industry professionals at RCAT for personal interview.

The visit commenced with a welcome address by the RCAT Center coordinator Mr. Rajat Barman, who introduced the students to the center's mission, objectives and process of placement along with mentorship provided during internships.

Two young entrepreneurs Aryan Singh founder of AgroBot and Himanshu Daga inventor of Smart AI Powered Spectacles demonstrated their product and shared their journey of becoming successful entrepreneurs.

All the students participated in a Q&A session, asking questions about the internship application process, industry expectations, and tips for effective job applications. The visit included a guided tour of the RCAT facilities, allowing students to familiarize themselves with the resources available for skill enhancement, such as labs and training centers.

Students expressed gratitude for the informative session and the opportunity to engage with industry professionals.

The visit to RCAT Center, Jaipur on 16th April 2026 was successfully coordinated by Dr. Ruchi Dave (Assoc. Prof. CSE) and Mr. Subham Agarwal of FET.

The visit to the RCAT Center proved to be an enriching experience for the B Tech 4th Semester students for internship cum placement opportunities. It equipped them with valuable information and inspired them to take proactive steps towards securing internships and becoming entrepreneurs.
