Data Cleaning using Python

A one-day workshop on “Data Cleaning using Python” was successfully organized by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology on 4th April 2026 for the students of B.Tech, BCA, and Diploma programs.

The workshop commenced with a warm welcome of the guest speakers by Dr. Renu Bagoria, Mr. Suraj Yadav, and Mr. Shailendra Sharma, setting a positive and engaging tone for the session.

The technical sessions were conducted by industry experts from Grass Solutions Private Limited, Mr. Vikas Kumar (Senior Data Scientist) and Mr. Sunil Kumar (Senior Data Scientist). The speakers shared valuable insights and practical knowledge on various important topics including:

• Data cleaning techniques using Python
• Data warehousing concepts
• Real-time data analytics
• Big data analytics
• Dashboard design principles

Two hundred and fifty-five (255) students participated in the workshop. The workshop provided students with hands-on exposure and enhanced their understanding of industry-relevant tools and practices in data analytics.

The event was efficiently coordinated by Mr. Shailendra Sharma and Dr. Rishi Sharma, ensuring smooth execution and active participation from students.

Overall, the workshop was highly informative and beneficial, equipping students with essential skills in data preprocessing and analytics, which are crucial for their academic and professional growth.
