National Education Day

Objective

• To pay tribute to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad for his contribution to the field of education.
• To create awareness about the role of education in nation building.
• To encourage students to participate in creative and academic activities that promote the value of education.

Summary

The Department of Education, Jagannath University, Jaipur celebrated National Education Day on 11th November 2025 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. An Essay Writing Competition on the theme “Role of Education in Nation Building” was organized to highlight the importance of education in national development.

Outcomes

The activity helped students understand the significance of education in national progress. It also inspired them to contribute actively to society through knowledge, skills, and moral values.
