Introduction

Electrical engineering has been one of the most prominent branches for many years in India. Their gamut of work in Electrical engineering ranges from computers, cell phones, electronic gadgets, radars, navigation systems, power plants, etc. Electric engineers also work in research & development organizations. M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering is a 2 years full- time program spread into 4 semesters involving an advanced study of various subjects of study such as Control Systems, Circuits and Micro-controllers, Power Engineering, Power Systems etc.


Programme Duration

The M. Tech programme will be of minimum 2 Years duration (4 Semester).


Programme Eligibility

B.Tech/B.E./MCA/ M.Sc. (Physics/ Math)/ M.Sc. (Electronics) M.Sc. (CS/IT)with min . 50% marks. 

OR

The candidate must have passed B.E. /B. Tech or equivalent degree or a Masters degree in respective or allied discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate (all semesters/years) marks or CGPA of 5.5 in 10 points scale and possess a valid GATE score or qualified through Admission Test prescribed by the Jagan Nath University.
