
Prof. M.K. Bhargava

Prof. M.K. Bhargava obtained his B.E. (Met. Engg.) degree from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. His further degrees include M.Sc. (Met. Engg.) from Banaras Hindu University & Ph.D from University of Stuttgart, Germany respectively. He has been Research Associate at Max Plank Institute for Metal Research Stuttgart, Germany and Visiting Professor at Hochchule Bremen, Germany. He has served Malviya Regional Engineering College, now Malviya National Institute of Technology in various capacities. During his tenure as professor for 17 years he has been Head of the Department for three terms of 3 years each. He has guided number of M.E. thesis and has more than a dozen publications in national and international journals to his credit. He was Project Coordinator of U.K. India REC's project for Malviya Regional Engineering College, a project to strengthen technical education in India through U.K.'s assistance. He is a life member of Indian Institute of Metals and Indian Society for Technical Education. Dr. Bhargava has joined Jagan Nath Gupta Group in June 2004 as Director of JNIT and presently serving Jagan Nath University as Vice-Chancellor.
