Bachelor of Physiotherapy program offered by JAGAN NATH UNIVERSITY is designed to meet the international standards and is sooner to be recognized by the IAP and accepted by regulatory bodies abroad. This degree program will be taught by qualified faculties and has a balanced exposure of both the academic and clinical training. This program is for four and half years with a well-organized curriculum and delivery modes emphasizing on evidence based practices. This course is a full time training program in physiotherapy for four years followed by six months' internship (4½ years) leading to Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree (BPT). This program provides systematic Physiotherapy education in theory as well as practical with an emphasis on clear concepts and basics.
Physiotherapists are employed in all general hospitals and also in specialty and super specialty hospitals run by the government and non-government organizations.
Physiotherapists are also working at district levels and community health centers and will be engaged in primary health Centers in near future. Today majority of
Physiotherapists are engaged in Private Practices in poly clinics or their own clinics and carry out referral as well as first contact practice. Foreign employment and professional upgradation program are accessible to qualified physiotherapists. Physiotherapists play an integral part in the health sector and hence are required in all hospitals.
